Our first ‘Live In Your Lounge‘ concert celebrates the life and music of Beethoven to mark the 250th anniversary year of his birth. NCM Artistic Directors Joanne Quigley McParland and David Quigley will perform popular works by the composer and are joined by celebrated Irish actor Ciarán Hinds for a reading of The Heiligenstadt Testament - a letter Beethoven wrote to his brothers in 1802 describing his despair in coming to terms with his loss of hearing.
