Franz Schubert String Quartet no 14 in D Minor, Death and the Maiden
Join us for an unforgettable performance with The Fews Ensemble as they present a captivating programme that promises to stir the soul. The concert will feature Samuel Barber's hauntingly beautiful Adagio for Strings and his evocative Dover Beach with tenor Aaron O’Hare, alongside Schubert’s masterful Death and the Maiden. In a special highlight, the ensemble will debut Response, a brand-new work by acclaimed composer Amy Rooney, in its world premiere concert tour. With a rich blend of timeless classics and fresh contemporary sounds, this performance promises to be a moving and immersive musical experience not to be missed.
